  1. Feature17 ready-made Alberta maps and a questions page

    New map pages for minerals, mineral rights and claims, oil and gas wells, abandoned and orphan wells, oil sands, coal mines, geology, lithium, helium, geothermal, CCS, the Montney / Duvernay / Clearwater plays, pipelines, seismic, gold and rockhounding, gravel pits and groundwater, plus sourced answers to common questions.

  2. FeatureSite search, methodology page, change feed and share images

    Every page now has a site-wide search box, a methodology and sources page, dated change notes with an RSS feed, and social share images for commodity, dataset and operation pages.

  3. FixMobile layout and map legend

    The exploration view no longer overflows on phones, the wealth table scrolls inside its panel, and the map legend collapses on narrow screens.

  4. FixMaps stayed blank: MapLibre worker not bundled

    MapLibre GL 6 loads its vector-tile worker from a sibling module that the Next.js bundle did not emit. The worker is now served from /maplibre and both maps load the OpenFreeMap basemap.

  5. FeaturePages for every dataset, mine and subsurface asset

    59 public dataset pages, 58 mine and project pages and 17 subsurface asset pages, each with a deep link that focuses the map.

  6. DataIntegrated exploration model

    Catalogued 59 public subsurface imaging and geological datasets (55 endpoints verified live), 58 operations with October 2026 status, 25 official reserve statements, 42 knowledge-driven prospectivity envelopes and 34 commodity profiles with reserves, value chain, projections, feasibility and development checklists.

  7. DataResearch sweep: AER ST98 2026, AGS INF 154–161, World Bank CMO Apr 2026, USGS MCS 2026

    Reserves effective 31 Dec 2023 (McDaniel), 2025 production, October 2026 prices, Canada–Alberta MOU (Nov 2025) and Pathways MOU (Jul 2026) incorporated. Items that could not be verified are labelled in each profile.

  8. FeatureSurvey Data Registry absorbed into the Atlas

    The registry explorer and the standalone registry site now share one data file and the same filters.

  9. DataSurvey Data Source Registry v0.1

    67 survey, land and method data sources with access class, licence and link-check status.
